Ryan
founded Conner Design in 2004 with the objective of providing clients
with high quality architectural services, personal attention and
accountability. His design process is inclusive and draws on the
cumulative experience of the project team to recognize potential,
explore possibilities, and generate thoughtful & sensitive
architecture. By leading the process, encouraging collaboration and
always keeping the needs, limitations and aspirations of the client in
the forefront, Ryan has created compelling architecture and developed
long lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with many clients,
engineers and contractors.
Ryan spent fifteen years
working on a variety of projects for various multi-disciplinary
architectural firms in the D.C. and New England area. At ADD Inc in
Cambridge, Massachusetts, he led high-profile & complex,
Multi-Family & Commercial projects. At Flansburgh Associates in
Boston, he was involved with design of Public Schools and in Washington
D.C., he specialized in the planning of Churches.
Ryan graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Architecture from Norwich University in 1995.

Alok joined Ryan in 2005, to expand the company's scope and tackle
larger & more complex works. His technical expertise and fervor for
holistic design have been central to shaping the firms design
philosophy. He leads the process of building code analysis; the
selection and detailing of architectural systems and components; and
the coordination & integration of the structural & mechanical
systems.
Alok has accumulated a vast experience from working on a great
number of varied projects spread across 3 continents. At ADD Inc in
Cambridge, Massachusetts, he headed the design development for
commercial, residential, dormitory & retail projects. Prior to
coming to the United States, Alok worked with a large multinational
& multidisciplinary firm, KEOIC, in Kuwait City, Kuwait where he
contributed to the construction documentation of 2 office towers and to
winning international competitions for 2 university projects in the
Middle East. He also worked with firms in India during and immediately
after graduating from the 5-year architectural degree program at TVB
School of Habitat Studies, New Delhi, India. He is a registered
Architect in India.
